Boss Cart is a rapidly expanding ecommerce website development company. We have a portfolio of e-shop solution for SMEs, created by our team of highly skilled and experienced programmers. Boss Cart is currently looking for add another talented PHP web developer to our dynamic team.
Position Description
You will be a highly motivated and hardworking individual who can work alone with little supervision, you will be working remotely from your home or office and use instant messenger and other technologies to stay in touch with the rest of the team.
We currently have two shopping cart platforms, our premium shopping cart and the free version, we are working on a hosted shopping cart, you may be called on to work on any of the three projects depending on your skill and experience level.
Required Skills
- Advance PHP and MySQL.
- Implementing and integrating check-out functionality.
- Regular expressions.
- SEFURLs and rewriting using the ”mod_rewrite” engine.
- Setting up, installing and modifying e-commerce platforms.
- Be familiar with the common technologies in ecommerce such as using XML feeds to pull or push data from or to other web applications.
- Basic Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
- Very good understanding of the W3C standards.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Applicable certifications or diplomas.
- 2+ years of related working experience.
- Where you do not have a degree in computing or programming, minimum of 5 years experience developing web application will be accepted.
